Dream Destination

For as long as I can remember the number one place I have always wanted to travel to is Paris,France. I have always wanted to go to see the eiffel tower. I have been saving for as long as I can remember. This image is taken by Roger Viollet.. I love this image it is so cool,it is black&white,it has great perspective, and it is a great close up.I actuallly have this photo as a poster. I know someday I will travel to Paris,France, but for now I dream of the day when I go.  When the time is right I will go.

A new favoriate of mine

The other night with a few friends I rented the movie "Eat Pray Love". I loved it I thought it was so fascinating. I loved that it showed adventure, humor,a love story, and sadness. I really like this movie because it is a true story and that is what makes it so great. It is so cool to watch a movie and think someone actually did this. The main character Liz Gilbert(actor Julia Roberts) was so determined to find herself and never gave up.I find it so cool that Liz Gilbert wrote about this.I have not read the book, but I have heard great things about it. She traveled to Itlay,India, and Bali.In each country she discovered something different, and along the way it showed the people she met and came to become friends with them. In Italy she dicovered the food and learned how to speak in italian. In India she prayed and met a new friend who lives in taxes. In Bali she found love and happieness with herself. Each place she traveled to she met new people, and they were very kind to her. I give her a lot of credit for traveling alone and risking everything to find herself. A lot of people would not have the courage to travel alone, but she did. Traveling alone can be scary ,but it didn't stop her. I find it so amazing that she was so unhappy and then she decided to do something about it and was happier once again. I would suggest this movie to just about anybody, because I think it gives a few messages and one of them being if you are unhappy you don't have to stay that way. This story seems very rare and it is one of a kind.I don't belive I have ever heard a  story like this before. She also made you think just because you want to do something and you haven't done it,does not mean it is ever to late to accomplish that goal. This story makes me want to travel similar to how she did.How cool would it be to travel to three countries and change your life? It sounds unbelievable to me.

Decisions

I am not sure what I should do.I do know I would like a dlsr camera. But I still feel undecided on what kind of camera to get. I am working on saving for this camera. But how do I decide between a Nikon or a Cannon? I still need a little more time to save for this camera, but eventually when I am ready I will buy it. Every time I see it when I am out I look at it and say that is my dream camera. I don't need it just yet,but I would love to have a  dlsr as a starter out photographer camera. I just would like to learn more about both the nikon and cannon dlsr cameras. In the near future I just hope not to waste my money buying a camera that I am not sure how to use it. I am sure it is like anything though, I will just have to read about the camera and practice using it.When I ask some people about what camera they think I should do,I often get the response of it all depends on your preference. I understand that though but,I am not sure. Which is easier to use a nikon or a cannon? Does one take better picture then the other? These are the questions I need to find out, because I am not sure what my peference is. I will decide soon and I will feel confident with my choice when I am ready.Until then  in my free time I will look into prices, research both the cameras,go cmaera shopping and read. I will post my choice, sometime soon!

So different/Getting some time to get used to

In high school when devopling film you open the film iun a black jacket. The black jacket had sleves and all the supplies would be in their. For example,in the jacket would be scissors,a plastic developing tank,a bottle opener, and a reel. The bottle opener would be used to open the film. Then you would reel tthe film on the reel. The sicissors would be used to cut the end of the fim,and the final step is putting the reel in the developing tank. All these steps used in high school were used in my photo class. The only difference is the jacket was used in high school and in college they use a room smaller than a closet. This will take time to getting used to. The sub on wednesday asked me which I like better, and I said I wasn't sure. Now I may think I like the jacket better. The closet will take time to get used to.

The almost accident

In photography class on wednesday we devolped our film. We had a sub ,but he went over the steps in devolping. We devolped in sets of two,the first step was opening the film.Opening the film was challenging because you went in a room that was really small dark, because you don't want to expose your film. The room was like a colset ,but it was smaller. When I went in to open my film I opened a door that someone was already in,and they screamed and said no.I felt awful,I thought I ruined their film. I certainly learned a lesson when the door is shut knock first so you don't open a door when someone is already in it. I apologized a bunch of times because I didn't do it on purpose, but my classmate said don't worry about it. Thankfully their film turned out in everything,I was so nervous their film wouldn't turn out at all. Thankfully my classmate was not mad at me and it turned out to be okay.

One of my favorites

I took this image in the summer 2010 and it is one of my personal favorites that I love. I took this image in Wildwood Crest,New Jersey.  I love this picture because it has the two boats in it that look like two lonely boats just floating their and the sun was going down at the perfect time. It was one of those perfect moments!
